Tim Clement studied art at the University of Tulsa, with an emphasis in sculpture. There, he took life drawing from the legendary Alexandre Hogue. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969. He began his career as a draftsman, first for Engineering Design Group and later Williams Brothers Engineering. He then spent three-and-half years as a firefighter for the Tulsa Fire Department, which led to his becoming an instructor in Fire Protection Technology at Tulsa Community College, a position he held from 1978-1998. Halfway through that tenure, he co-founded Neosource, an aircraft engineering firm, where he remained a partner until 2023 when he sold his shares in the company.
Tim is a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa where he served in several roles, including ruling elder and Mission Committee chairman, and where he has donated much time and expertise in various art projects for the church. He also served as assistant Scoutmaster, first with Tulsa Troop 945 and Troop 1, the latter sponsored by First Presbyterian Church.
In his relative retirement, Tim founded MasterworkStudios in downtown Tulsa as an art gallery, studio space and event center. It is the new home of Art for Christ and Community (ACC Tulsa), an organization he founded with Ron Hart in 2024.
Tim and wife Patricia have been married 55 years. He is the father of Peter (deceased) and Sarah, and the grandfather of Jonathan and Elizabeth.
